About the job: Skills Trainer Nursing

Job Responsibilities Nurse –skills team lead:

  • Program Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop nursing skill and upskill training programs that align with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Curriculum Design: Create engaging and effective training materials, ensuring content is up-to-date, evidence-based, and tailored to the needs of our nursing team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of skilled educators and trainers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of training programs.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions and workshops, utilizing various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and levels of experience.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Implement assessment strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs, continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with nursing leadership, HR, and other departments to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in nursing practices, and changes in regulations to update training programs accordingly.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the quality and consistency of training content and delivery across the team.


  • Nursing Background: Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong clinical background and experience in various nursing specialties.
  • Education and Training: Master’s degree in Nursing. Additional certifications in nursing education or training are a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team towards achieving training objectives.
  • ZCommunication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex medical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt training programs to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry and nursing profession.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with e-learning platforms, simulation tools, and other technology-driven training methods.
  • Quality Improvement: Strong commitment to continuous improvement and a focus on maintaining high standards of quality in training programs.
